Kuwait: The Aftermath

Kuwait the Aftermath offers a vivid, graphic portrayal of the events in Kuwait immediately following the Gulf War, otherwise known as Desert Storm, in 1990. In the wake of the coalition forces' victory over Iraq, Kuwait faced an unprecedented crisis, both physically and emotionally. The documentary takes an unflinching look at the heart of a nation struggling to rebuild itself after the destruction of its infrastructure, the psychological trauma of living under occupation, the environmental catastrophe that saw over 600 Kuwaiti oil wells set on fire and the profound loss of life and human suffering.
